This driver diskette contains driver directories for DOS, Windows 9X/ME/NT/2000
Windows XP/2003/XP64-bits, OS/2, and NetWare for the following adapters :

- DC-315U/DC-305 :  max 20MB/sec  8-Bit Ultra SCSI
- DC-395U	 :  max 20MB/sec  8-Bit Ultra SCSI
- DC-395UW	 :  max 40MB/sec 16-Bit Ultra Wide SCSI

1. SCO UNIX 3.2v4.x & OpenServer 5.0 drivers are in the other driver diskette
2. UnixWare, FreeBSD & Linux (Slackware & RedHat) drivers can be accessed at

A DOS driver installation file (INSTALL.EXE), which resides in the <DOS>
directory, can help you install the drivers by auto-updating the AUTOEXEC.BAT
& CONFIG.SYS files.

1. <DOS>: It contains ASPI drivers and utilities for DC-395U/UW/F or DC-315/U

	1.1. T3X5ASPI.SYS : ASPI driver for DC-395U/UW/F or DC-315/U
	1.2. TRMDISK.SYS  : ASPI driver for HDD and removable media devices
	1.3. TFDISK.EXE   : DOS compatible disk partition utility
	1.4. TRMCD.SYS	  : CD-ROM driver (add "/s2" switch, if your CD-ROM is
			    a SCSI-2 device)
	1.5. INSTALL.EXE  : This is a DOS driver installtion utility that helps
			    you install the device drivers for HDD, removable
			    media, CD-ROM, and tape by auto-updating the
			    CONFIG.SYS and AUTOEXEC.BAT files.
	1.6. UTIL.EXE	  : Setup utility for you to change the options for
			    adapter/SCSI_devices without re-booting the system
			    and pressing <F2> key


2. <NETWARE>: It contains drivers for NetWare 3.1x/SFT-III/4.0x/4.1x/5.x

	2.1. NV31XBMP.DSK: disk driver / ASPI manager.
	2.2. ASPITRAN.DSK: ASPI transport layer driver.


3. <OS2>: It contains 4 files under the \OS2DRV directory of this driver
	     diskette and is for OS/2 versions 2.0/2.1/2.11/WARP 3.0 & 4.0

	3.1. TMSCSIW.EXE: Execution file for DDINSTAL
	3.2. TMSCSIW.ADD: SCSI Device Driver
	3.3. TMSCSIW.DDP: SCSI Device Driver Profile

4. <WINNT>: Contains drivers for Windows NT v3.51/4.x in <WINNT\3_51-4_x>:

	4.1. OEMSETUP.INF : Setup Information File
	4.2. TRM3X5.SYS   : SCSI Driver
	4.3. TXTSETUP.OEM : Setup Text File (in root directory)
	4.4. DCSCSI	  : Text Setup Tag File (in root directory)

5. <WIN2000> : Contains drivers for Windows 2000 in <WIN2000>

6. <WINXP>   : Contains drivers for Windows XP in <WINXP>

7. <WIN95_98>: Contains drivers for Windows 95/98/Me
	       There are two driver files under the \WIN95 directory of the driver diskette:
	       =>      TRM3X5.MPD
	       =>      SCSI.INF

8. <BIOS>: It contains Flash ROM utility for BIOS upgrade. Make sure that your
	   BIOS ROM is a Flash ROM by checking the print "Flash ROM" on the BIOS chip.

6. <AMD64>   : Contains drivers for Windows 64Bit for AMD64 in <AMD64>

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
