WIRELESS NETWORK ADDENDUM TO THE MODEM RENTAL AGREEMENT
By clicking “Next” below, or using or installing wireless network equipment with your Qwest DSL Service, you affirm that (a) you understand this Wireless Network Addendum to the Modem Rental Agreement and (b) you accept this Wireless Network Addendum and its terms and conditions, even if you do not read it. The sections below shall be added to the end of the Modem Rental Agreement, without modifying any terms therein, and Section 7 of the Modem Rental Agreement shall not act to modify any of the terms of this Wireless Network Addendum, which terms apply only to wireless networking.  The full text of the Modem Rental Agreement is provided below for your convenience.

1.	WIRELESS NETWORKING DEVICES USE PUBLIC RADIO CHANNELS TO TRANSMIT VOICE AND DATA COMMUNICATIONS. QWEST CANNOT GUARANTEE THE SECURITY, PRIVACY, OR CONFIDENTIALITY OF ANY TRANSMISSIONS MADE VIA SUCH DEVICES, AND QWEST MAKES NO ASSURANCES OR WARRANTIES RELATING TO THEIR USE BY YOU. YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR ALL USE OF YOUR QWEST DSL SERVICE REGARDLESS OF THE SOURCE OF A TRANSMISSION, WHETHER BY YOU, OR AN AUTHORIZED OR UNAUTHORIZED THIRD PARTY, OVER YOUR QWEST DSL SERVICE. 

2.	Customer acknowledges that Qwest: (a) is not the manufacturer nor the provider of any wireless networking equipment (“Wireless Equipment”); (b) is not a party to any agreement between Customer and a Wireless Equipment manufacturer or provider (e.g., warranty services); and (c) shall not be bound by, or liable for, any representation, warranty, or promise made by a Wireless Equipment manufacturer or provider. QWEST DISCLAIMS ANY LIABILITY FOR LOSS, DAMAGE, OR INJURY TO ANY PARTY AS A RESULT OF ANY DEFECTS, LATENT OR OTHERWISE, IN ANY WIRELESS EQUIPMENT. ACCORDINGLY, ALL WIRELESS EQUIPMENT IS SUBJECT TO THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS SET FORTH IN THE MANUFACTURER’S WARRANTY, END-USER LICENSE OR AGREEMENT APPLICABLE TO SUCH WIRELESS EQUIPMENT, IF ANY, WITH NO WARRANTY OF ANY KIND FROM QWEST.

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
