This is the first release version of the p3i3 drivers and development tools.


Hardware Documentation

The hardware documentation is no longer part of the application setup.
It can be dowloaded as an separate Pdf-File at http://www.eltec.com or
http://www.eltec.de




Software Setup
=====================
The setup of the p3i3 software consists of two parts which have to
be installed both to get an operational system. One part is the system specific
hardware driver and the other part is the development tools setup. This 
readme is part of the development tools.

Please make sure to select the camera before InitHW. 
Unlike to the other grabbers it is not possible to change 
the camera afterwards.

These functions have been added to support the functionality of the board:
                el_SetExposureTime(),
                el_SetPixelClock(),
                el_SetCycleTime(),
                el_GetExposureTime(),
                el_GetPixelClock(),
                el_GetCycleTime(),
                el_SetTriggerModes()
                 
el_SetExtTriggerInput() is used in a slightly different way. Please
refer to the software documentation !

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
