INSTALLING THE SCSIPRO DRIVER WITH WIN'95 Start Win'95 Select "Settings" then "Control Panel" Click on "Control Panel" Double click on "Add New Hardware" Click on "Next" Select "NO" to the question "Do you want Windows to search for your new hardware" Click "Next" Select "SCSI controller" from the list of hardware types Click on "Next" Click on "Have Disk" below the display of hardware manufacturers and models Insert the SCSIPRO Win'95 driver on drive A:> then click "OK" Click "Next" Resource type and setting will come up then click "OK" Click "Next" Click "Finish" Select "NO" to question "Do you want to shutdown the system?" "Double click "System" under "Control Panel" Click on "Device Manager" Double Click on "SCSI controller" Double Click on "Xirlink XL221 SCSI Mini port" Click on "Resources" Click on "Input/Output range" Click on "Change settings" Click on Up or Down arrow keys to select your card I/O setting Click "OK" Click on "Interrupt Request" Click on "Change Settings" Click on Up or Down arrow keys to select your card IRQ setting. Click on "OK" Click on "OK" Shutdown and restart the computer If you are getting a message saying "ASPI.SYS" is forcing the Win'95 to run in MSDOS compatibility mode paging which reduces overall performance, then you need to do the following: 1. Shutdown and restart the computer in MS-DOS mode 2. Edit your config.sys and delete the line "device=ASPI221.sys" 3. Save files and exit 4. Shutdown the computer and restart the computer.Download Driver Pack
After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
