       Samsung 100/10Mbps PCI Ethernet Adapter Netware Server Driver Installation Guide

1. On server prompt mode, type "load install" then you can see installation screen.
   Select "Driver Option" => "Configure network drivers" => "Select a driver(or 'Select an additional driver')" 
          => Hit 'Insert' key for "Install an unlisted driver"

2. And you can see help screen for new driver install, then select "Press <F3> to specify a different driver"(Press 'F3' key).
   Type full path name being nwserver driver. for example "A:\nwserver", and press 'Enter' key.

3. You can see the Samsung server driver installation screen.
   You must input the slot number. otherwise, it may not perfectly installed.
   If you don't know the correct slot number, type any number.
   and than, Novell netware server NOS would install Samsung server driver. 
 
   If 'SLOT' number appears at the bottom of screen(for example "slot=120"), it is mismatched.
   anyway, continue installation. But remember the slot number of the bottom of screen.

4. If "some protocol unloaded...." message appear, installation isn't perfect.
   the reason is that the slot number dosn't match with system slot number.
   So, to install perfectly, unload Samsung server driver and 
   re-install it with the slot number which you've remembered of the bottom of screen.
   
5. Following is the description of optional keywords for SEC100 server driver.

	LINESPEED -- Line speed selection. Can be either 10 or 100.
                 If this keyword is absent, Autonegotiation mode is used.

	NODEADDRESS -- Node ID override. If it is absent, driver will use the one in the serial EEPROM.

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
