Before You Begin
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Thanks for choosing the EtherFast 10/100 PC Card from Linksys. Before
attempting to install the card, we highly recommend that you read
the User Guide that came with your card in order to install both your
PCMCIA socket & card services AND your network driver.
Setup
----------------------------------------------------------------------
1. Install LANTASTIC 6.0 onto your PC if you haven't already.
2. Insert the EtherFast's software disk into drive A.
Run the INSTALL.EXE program contained in the disk's
root directory.
3. Select "LANTASTIC 6.0" in "Network Operating System" screen.
4. If the current settings shown are acceptable, select "Start
Installation" and start the installation; otherwise,
choose "Modify Parameters" and make any necessary changes.
6. INSTALL.EXE starts copying related files from the
diskette to the destination directory and modifies your
CONFIG.SYS, PROTOCOL.INI, and STARTNET.BAT files.
7. The installation is complete. Please reboot the computer to
allow the driver to take effect, then log into the network.
