Windows NT 4.0 installation

See the NetLINE user guide for instructions on installing the PCI card
into the PCI card slot.  Make absolutely sure the card is seated all 
the way into the PCI slot, and no gold pins are showing in the top of
the slot.  After installing the card, restart the computer.

Open the Control Panels Folder.

  1. Select the Network Control Panel.
  2. Select the Adapters Tab.
  3. Click the Add Button.
  4. The Select Network Adapter window is listed.
  5. Click the Have Disk Button.
  6. The Insert Disk window will appear.
  7. Insert the NetLINE disk into the floppy drive.
  8. At the prompt, type A:\Winnt40, and click OK.
  9. Windows will install the NetLINE PCI Card driver.
 10. When prompted for TCP/IP setup information, enter the appropriate
     information for your network or select DHCP.
 11. Restart the computer when prompted.

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
