Windows 2000 Professional installation See the NetLINE user guide for instructions on installing the PCI card into the PCI card slot. Make absolutely sure the card is seated all the way into the PCI slot, and no gold pins are showing in the top of the slot. After installing the card, restart the computer. 1. Windows will find new hardware and detect the card as a Realtek 8029 PCI Card. This type of card has a certified and digitally signed driver built into the operating system. The system will automatically determine that this is the best driver for your system. You can use the NetLINE PCI Card with this digitally signed driver. 2. We recommend that you update the driver using the Farallon NetLINE PCI Card driver on the provided floppy disk. 3. Open the System control panel and select the device manager. 4. Under network adapters, select the Realtek 8029 PCI Card. Then, click on properties. 5. Select the driver tab and update driver. 6. Select search for the best driver and indicate search the a: drive. 7. Several drivers will be displayed, make sure you pick the netrtp.inf file located in a:\ or a:\Win2000. 8. Select finished, and the device manager should update showing the NetLINE PCI Card under network adapters. No restart should be necessary, but we recommend you restart just to be sure the system configuration is updated completely.Download Driver Pack
