    AdvanSys AdvanSCSI WINASPI.DLL
    ----------------------------------------

This file contains important information and last-minute changes regarding
    the AdvanSCSI WINASPI.DLL.

    Installing and using WINASPI.DLL
    ----------------------------

WINASPI.DLL is a DLL file used in conjunction with DOS ASPI to provide programs
such as COLORADO memory's tape back up utility that require a protected mode
    DLL to function properly.

To use WINASPI.DLL with any AdvanSys adapter card simply replace the WINASPI.DLL
the application called for by renaming the WINASPI.DLL to WINASPI.ORG and copy the
WINASPI.DLL provided by AdvanSys to the same directory.

For example in the case of COLOLADO memory tape backup, if the utility is
installed in subdirectory CBW there should be a file WINASPI.DLL in that
directory. Simply copy WINASPI.DLL provided by AdvanSys to the directory
    CBW.

AdvanSys WINASPI.DLL is specifically designed to work with AdvanSys
ABPxxx series of adapters. Do not attempt to use AdvanSys WINASPI.DLL
    with other brand adapters.
