Information concerning EPSON Copy Utility

EPSON Copy Utility cautions are described below. 

[Caution Concerning Copy]
It is not recommended to use EPSON Copy Utility and another application that uses 
scanner and/or printer at the same time.
Plese wait until printing is finished from EPSON Copy Utility before printing from 
another application.
When EPSON Copy Utility is running, a scanner cannot be used from other applications.
Please close EPSON Copy Utility before using a scanner with others.

[Deleting EPSON Copy Utility] (for Windows)
If you are deleting EPSON Copy Utility, uninstall the software by selecting 
"EPSON Copy Utility" from "Add/Remove Programs" in Control Panel.
Note that it is not possible to uninstall the software if you do not have administrator's 
rights in Windows 2000 and Windows XP. Log in as an administrator in order to uninstall the 
software.

[Deleting EPSON Copy Utility] (for Macintosh)
If you are deleting EPSON Copy Utility, use the Uninstaller from the EPSON software disk.
If you cannot delete all the items, delete the files and folders in the EPSON Copy Utility folder.
Note that it is not possible to uninstall the software if you do not have administrator's 
rights. Log in as an administrator in order to uninstall the software.

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
