Attached is the modem script file and firmware/upgrade tool for the IEA-128.
 
mdmasuta.inf      : modem script file for IEA-128 in Windows 95/98/ME/NT
mdmasuta2k.inf  : modem script file for IEA-128 in Windows 2000/XP
as1261.zip          : version 1.26.1 firmware
isdntav227.zip    : version 2.27 upgrade and configuration utility for IEA-128 in Windows 95/98/ME/NT
 
About the firmware upgrade by the HyperTerminal :
 
Before upgrading firmware,
 Please check the AA Led on the front panel of IEA-128.
 If AA led is flashing, it means the main program have been erased.
 Please do the following:

 1.  make sure the COM port setting:115.2K, No parity , 8 data bits, 1 stop bit, Hardware flow control on HyperTerminal.
 2.  Run HyperTerminal .
 3.  type AT command and the following messages appear:
      AT
      Bad command !

      ISDN TA upgrade procedure starts:
      Erase current driver<Y/N>:

 Press 'Y', the TA starts to erase the driver in flash memory and the
 following messages are displayed.

      Ereasing ISDN drvier......(wait about 5 seconds)
      Finish erase procedure

      Waiting for new firmware through ASCII mode transmission
      If you want to exit upgrade procedure, press '$' to exit now.

 Now, you can select Session->Send file..->Send Text File->the file with .abs.

 When you finished, just re-power IEA-128

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

• Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

• If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

• Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

• Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

• Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

• From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

• Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
