Note: The following instructions may vary, depending on the operating system installed on your computer. 1. On the screen, double-click the 8mbmidi.exe file. 2. In the Win-Zip Self Extractor window, click Unzip to expand the files to the C:\Cabs\8mbmidi folder. 3. Close all open programs. 4. On the screen, double-click the My Computer icon. 5. In the My Computer window, double-click the C: folder, double-click the Cabs folder, and then double-click the 8mbmidi folder. 6. In the 8mbmidi window, click eapci8m.ecw, and then from the Edit menu, click Copy. 7. Close the 8mbmidi and Cabs windows. 8. In the C: folder, double-click the Windows folder, and then double-click the System folder. 9. In the System window, from the Edit menu, click Paste. 10. Close all open windows and programs. Removal The driver cannot be removed, as sound will not work properly without this file. After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
