Windows NT 4.0 Display Driver Installation Guide Release 1.0 September 23rd, 1996 CONTENTS Introduction Installation Instructions Introduction ============ This file contains the information you need to install our Windows NT 4,0 driver for your ARK VGA card. Installation Instructions ========================= Open the "Display Properties" dialog box by clicking on the desktop with the right mouse button and selecting "Properties" from the pop-up menu, or by launching the "My Computer" icon, selecting "Control Panel" and then selecting "Display." From the "Display Properties" dialog box: 1) Select the "Settings" menu. 2) Click the "Change Display Type..." button near the bottom of the dialog box. 3) This displays the "Change Display Type" dialog box. "Click the Change..." button in the "Adapter Type" section. This displays the "Select Device" dialog box. 4) Click on "Have Disk..." from the "Select Device" dialog box. and enter the path to the Stingray display drivers. If installing from the Hercules CD ROM, the path will be x:\STINGPRO\NT\NT40 (where "x" is the letter of your CD ROM drive). 5) Select the "ARK Logic" driver. Close the Display Properties dialog box, restart Windows 95. Once Windows 95 restarts, you can use the "Display Properties" utility to change the color depth and resolution.Download Driver Pack
After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
