Installation and Setup
Windows NT 4.0 Driver Installation/Removal Procedure For Avacne AC'97 Audio:

First Time Driver/Application Installation:
Step 1. After Enabling the Avance AC'97 Audio on your computer, Insert the "Avance
AC'97 Audio WindowsNT Driver and Utilities" CD-ROM/disk into the appropriate
drive and run SETUP.EXE file(inlcuded in the " WindowsNT Drivers and Utilities"
CD-ROM/disk) from the Windows NT START MENU|RUN.
Step 2. After runnig the Easy Install and click on [Next]. Setup will copy the needed
files into you computer system. Finally, select reboot option and click on
[Finish] to complete the installation.
Driver/Application Removal:
Step 1. To remove an existing driver/application , please click [Control Panel]|
[Add/Remove Programs], select "Avance Logic, Inc. Ac97 Audio Drivers for NT4.0"
item and click the button to run the removal program.
Step 2. In selecting a setup type, please choose "Remove" option and click on [Next].
After removing, select reboot option and click on [Finish] to finish the
removal.
Note:The program is only valid under NT4.0. For NT3.51 user, please install drivers
from CONTROL PANEL/MULTIMEDIA/DEVICE/ADD.
Download Driver Pack
After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
