  This document contains the installation guide for the 
  Microsoft Windows NT 4.0 Operating System.

  It is recommented to print the instruction out on a printer 
  before installation.

* NC1210 - Windows NT 4.0 Install		              *
***************************************************************

(1) Start your machine with the card inserted.

(2) Go to Start, Settings, Control Panel, Network, Add Adapter
    and Choose Have Disk.

(3) Insert the PROJECT NC1210 Series drivers Disk and type in 
    the path A:\WINNT4 then press Enter.
			
(4) Select the IRQ that you require.
    Be sure the IRQ you select does not conflict with an IRQ 
    used by any existing device.
    To see the IRQ's currently in use by other devices select 
	 
    Start, Programs, Administrative Tools,
    Windows NT Diagnostics, Resources, IRQ.
	
(5) Select the I/O Port Address for the Network Card.
    Valid Options are:	300, 320, 340, 360
    Be sure the I/O port you select does not conflict with a 
    port range in use by an existing device. 
    To see the port ranges in use by other devices select
	
    Start, Programs, Administrative Tools,
    Windows NT Diagnostics, Resources, I/O Port.

(6) Choose OK.

(6) Setup your Network Components as required.

(7) Restart Windows NT when prompted.

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
