Changes in v1.09:
-Changed Bmapi suspend/resume driver interface calls to include
getting Bmapi mutex. This is required for newer Bmapi API. This
change affects all BCM570x. This fix resolved the NIC no-link-up
after hot swap issue in all BCM570x NICs.

-Fixed the unrecognized-NIC problem by hotplug application
after system startup.

-Reduced CPU utilization. Fixed memory leak and service stop
problem. Utilized BMAPI event callback mechanism to refresh
LBFO team member states instead of polling.
Changes in v1.04:
-Fixed the LBFO team member state information not being refreshed
after a hot swap of a member as that member was selected at the
end of the hot swap process to rejoin the team as the primary
member of the LBFO team.
Changes in v1.02:
-Fixed Broadcom LBFO team member NICs state update to allow hot swap
of the inactive card in the event that the card has been failovered
due to transmit/receive failures.

-Supports non failover member NIC card hot swap.

-The Broadcom DMI PCI Hot Plug feature requires the Broadcom Management
Application Program Interface (BMAPI) be installed to work properly.
This file should be installed in the target system's System32 directory.
Look for the presence of the file bmapi.dll.
-Requires IBM Hot Plug Services v4.2 or newer to ensure proper operations.
This version contains important bug fixes to galvanize proper hot plug
operations. This version can be downloaded from the IBM website:
"www-1.ibm.com/servlet/support/manager?rs=0&rt=0&org=psg&doc=MIGR-4BLKLS"
or can be located through the IBM website search on "Hot Plug Services for
Windows NT 4".
-Requires the existence of the DMI Service Provider software
v2.0 from Smart Technology Enabler or Intel in the target
system for the DMI PCI Hot Plug Service to work.
-DMI Service Provider software v2.0 has to be installed prior to the
installation of the Broadcom DMI PCI Hot Plug Service.
-The b57dmihp.mif file should be installed where the OEM DMI management
software is installed. Typically, the DMI Management software is installed
in \Program Files\OEM directory. The b57dmihp.mif should be installed
into Program Files\OEM\DMI\Win32\mifs
directory.
The following files are installed from the OEM Hot Plug Software
Kit. These Files have to be installed in the target system's
Windows NT4.0 System32 directory after the installation of the Hot Plug
application software.

The following files are installed from the OEM Hot Plug Software
Kit. These Files have to be installed in the target system's OEM
Hot Plug PCI product directory. I.e. in Dell system, these files
are typically located in
\Program Files\Dell Computer Corporation\Dell PCI Hot Plug Services
if default installation path was selected during installation
of the Hot Plug application software.

-Hot Add feature is not fully tested. Installation of a new
BCM5700 NIC does not launch the Control Panel's Network NIC Adapter
installation screen. This problem is due to the test target system's
inability to stablize the power-on sequence on the newly seated NIC
on the PCI slot. The test target system's PCI slot green LED remains
flashing after being pushed. This LED should be on constantly to
signal that the new NIC has been powered on properly.
-Hot Add for Windows NT4.0 is not supported in the Dell servers.
Download Driver Pack
After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
