Windows NT Unattend Install Instructions
========================================

I. Introduction

The unattend installation of Windows NT is achieved by setting the
    options in the Unattend.txt file.

II. Setting up an Install Directory on the File Server

The server must be setup with a distribution folder that holds the required
Windows NT files and which clients can reach when connecting via TCP/IP or IPX.
For examples in this bdrvcopy.txt use the network share C:\Image.

    To prepare the distribution folder:

	1. Create a network share distribution folder, c:\Image
      	2. Copy the \I386 folder from the Windows NT CD to C:\Image.
Use Explorer, Winfile or XCOPY in order to maintain the same
directory structure as on the CD.

        3. Copy driver files from the Broadcom CD (found in \WinNT\Driver)
            into the shared directory C:\Image.

	4. Copy the Unattend folder from the Broadcom CD into the shared directory C:\Image.

	5. Change directory to the Unattend folder on the Dos prompt

	6. Run "BDRVCOPY.BAT ..\I386 nt" to create the driver install directory
structure and copy the driver files to it.

This would make the following folders under the \I386 folder as follows:
	         \$oem$\drivers\BCM570X

III. Deployment Methods

    1. Make sure that you have a copy of a network bootable MS-DOS floppy that will
connect the client system to the C:\Image directory on the File Server.

    2. Map the network share c:\Image to Z: on the client system.

    3. CD to Z:\I386 directory and run the command:

        winnt /s:z:\I386 /b /u:z:\I386\unattend.txt
       (where z: equals mapped drive)
