OPTi 82c93x Windows NT Audio Driver LATEST INFORMATION
                             (Version 1.04)
                               12/05/96

This is the OPTi 82c930, 82c931 audio driver release for Windows NT
version 3.51/4.00. Throughout this readme file, 82c93x refers to
82c930, and 82c931 (LC, AD, and MB versions).

This Windows NT driver provides the following support for OPTi 82c93x-
     based sound card:
        Wave playback/capture
        Midi playback
        MPU-401 Playback/Record
        Mic recording
        Volume control
        Driver installation/configuration
IDE CD-ROM support (Not for 931 AD versions)
        Gameport control

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Windows 2000 / Windows XP

The hardware will not be detected automatically. You will need to add it manually,
choosing a "have disk" option when that choice is available to you through "Add
Hardware" in the control panel.

It goes without saying that this is not a signed driver. If you don't want to
continue with installation at that point, then throw out your sound card -- because
there are no released [or planned] drivers either from Opti or M$.
