-	Put a diskette in the drive and run Create_boot_disk.exe to create a bootable disk.
-  	Then copy those files on the diskette:
		A:\bios.rom
		A:\PHLASH16.EXE
		A:\autoexec.BAT
-	Boot the computer with the boot disk. It will automatically flash the bios.
	(if BIOS update does not start automatically  run autoexec.bat file from floppy disk)
-  	Once BIOS refresh procedure is finished; please reboot machine and enter BIOS setup, press "Exit" 
	item and restore the default settings, then choose "Save and Exit" to save all setting changes. 
   
More Info:
-  Please refer to flash.doc to input DMI string if necessary.
-  The basic refresh BIOS command is as follows:
   phlash16 /MODE=2 /PN BIOS_FILE_NAME.rom 

Note: Bootable floppy disk must be created using Win95/98/ME. 
      Bootable disk created using WinXP will not work properly.

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
