320i Readme.txt Driver File Contents (p320i_drv_v1.0b8.exe)

THE BUGS MENTIONED BELOW ARE KNOWN PROBLEMS.
FOR A WORKAROUND, PLEASE FOLLOW THE STEPS AS DESCRIBED.

1. Workaround for the P320i\310i version 1.0B8 Clear Varnish ribbon bug.
======================================================================

The Clear Varnish ribbon feature in the P320i\310i driver does not work properly.

To print with a "Clear Varnish" ribbon, select the "Hologram" ribbon feature.
This feature allows you to print with the settings and options required
by the clear Varnish ribbon.
Both, the "Hologram" and "Clear Varnish" ribbons use the same printing settings and options.

2. YMCKO ribbon overlay bitmap base problem.
========================================================================

When using the bitmap base overlay feature with the YMCKO ribbon, some bitmaps do not print properly under Windows 2000 and XP operating systems.
In this case, no varnish is applied in the printed card.
To minimize the chances of meeting this problem, make sure the bitmap you are trying to print is a one bit per pixel bitmap with pure black and white colors.
