Here are the instructions for using the updater. 1. Unzip the Prodif 88 Firmware Updater (version 1.07.0001) into an empty directory. 3. Run the Prodif 88 Firmware Updater. It should be self-explanatory. If the customer has more than one Prodif 88 card in their system, they will need to update all cards by running this program once for each card, selecting a different Prodif 88 card each time. Do not shut down the computer until all cards have been updated. 4. After all Prodif 88 cards have had their firmware updated, shut down and power off the computer. It is necessary to power down completely to cause the new firmware to be reloaded. 5. Turn the computer back on and allow it to boot. 6. Follow the instructions in the Win2k\ReadMe.txt file in the Prodif 88 driver package to update the Prodif 88 driver with the new build 1014 driver files. Depending on how old the firmware was, the system might recognize the updated Prodif 88 card as "new hardware" and launch the Add Hardware Wizard. If the Add Hardware Wizard automatically appears, follow the "first-time installation" instructions in the ReadMe.txt file. Otherwise, follow the "updating to a new driver" instructions in the ReadMe.txt file instructions. 7. After the drivers have been installed, reboot the computer. 8. To confirm proper driver installation, bring up Device Manager, select the Prodif 88 card, right-click on it and select "Properties". Then, click on the "Driver" tab. The driver version should show the 4.05.1014 driver is loaded (depending on the version of Windows, this may appear as 4.5.0.1014). 9. To confirm proper firmware installation, bring up the Prodif 88 Configuration Dialog and click on the "Version" tab. The version info should show PCI rev 002 and FPGA version 7.Download Driver Pack
