1.      Overview:

        This file contains notes and changes to the utilities for 
        the ISDN drivers.

3.      Program description

3.1     ISDNMON

        The ELSA ISDNmonitor runs with Windows 3.x.
        The main window shows the following information:

        - B-Channels (B1 and B2)

            Con (Yellow LED):
              Off     = B-Channel not active
              Partial = B-Channel requested
              On      = B-Channel active (charged!)

            Tx (Red LED):
              Off     = No Data sent
              On      = Data sent

            Rx (Red LED):
              Off     = No Data received
              On      = Data received

        - S0 Interface

            S0 Power (Green LED):
              Off     = No S0 Power
              On      = S0 Power

            S0 Activation (Green LED):
              Off     = S0 Bus active
              On      = S0 Bus inactive

            TEI (Green LED):
              Off     = No TEI
              On      = Got TEI

            L2 (Green LED):
              Off     = D-Channel not active
              On      = D-Channel active

        In the menu topic "Info" you will find entries called
        "About" and "General Info". In the menu topic "Options" you
        will find the entrie "On Top". With "On Top" you can
        tell ISDNmonitor always to stay on top of all other windows.
        "General Info" gives you further information about your CAPI,
        your driver, your hardware and your ISDNmonitor. If you are
        using an US CAPI-Driver you will find another entry called
        "US Info".

        The value of "On Top" and the window position of the ISDNmonitor
        is saved when the ISDNmonitor is terminated and restored on the
        next aktivation.

        Notes:

        The ELSA ISDNmonitor for Windows runs with the ELSA
        CAPI 1.1 Driver for DOS or the ELSA CAPI 2.0 Driver for
        DOS Ver. 2.14 or higher and the ELSA Windows 3.x CAPI.DLL
        or CAPI20.DLL.

        You can also use the ELSA CAPI Driver for Windows 3.1
        Ver. 2.14 or higher.

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
