Installation without plug and play: If your system doesn't support plug and play, you also have to install the DLL's with the setup tool from the windows directory. The driver uses the following defaults: I/O-address : 0x160h IRQ : 15 If these parameters are used by an other component in your system, you have to change the defaults as shown below: - exit Windows and move to the directory \WINDOWS - open the file CAPI.INI with an ASCII editor (e.g. EDIT CAPI.INI) - search for the section [CAPI PARAM] - insert the line "ADDPARAM = [/a<I/O-addresse>] [/r<IRQ>]" e.g.: ADDPARAM = /a160 /r12 - start windows - to takeover the changes start the setup tool from the program group "ELSA ISDN Utilities" and go though it without changes. - if there is an application active, whitch uses the DLL, for example cFos or the ISDNmon, you have to restart Windows for the changed CAPI.INI is read again - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - 4.
