NE34OD.COM Ver 2.30 02/14/96 Description: 1. NE34OD.COM is a new ODI workstation driver. It is used for the DOS environment only and therefore defaults to the 802.2 frame type. 2. If there is only one NE-34 PCI adapter, the driver will automatically get IOBASE and IRQ from PCI Configuration Space. 3. If there is more than one NE-34 PCI adapter , user must indicate a specified IOBASE in NET.CFG file. 4. If you want to login to Netware server, you need five files: LSL.COM NE34OD.COM IPXODI.COM VLM.EXE NET.CFG Installation: 1. The running sequence is: LSL.COM NE34OD.COM --> NE-34 PCI's DOS ODI driver IPXODI VLM or NETX 2. Message---> No IO card existed. Solution--> Make sure that NE-34 PCI card is plugged into the system. 2. Message---> There are multiple NE-34 PCI cards.Use NET.CFG to specify I/O port. Solution--> Because there is more than one NE-34 card in your system, you must use the I/O port to select a NE-34 card. After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
