README.TXT This file. Presents a summary of the contents for
Netware Client32 driver installation.
ACC6X.LAN Accton Client32 ODI driver for EN166x.
This driver complies with Netware ODI Server driver
SPEC 3.3.
ACC6X.LDI The driver (ACC6X.LAN) installation information file for
Netware Server 4.X, NeDOS32, Microsoft Windows 3.x.
ACCODI.INF The driver (ACC6X.LAN) installation information file for
Microsoft Windows 95.

B.) Driver Installation for DOS32
1.> If you have completed installed the Netware Client 32 for DOS,
all you have to do is to modify STARTNET.BAT. Please see the
sample STARTNET.BAT below the installation instructions.
2.> Run INSTALL.EXE from Netware DOS 32 diskette 1 (or from Netware 4.11 CD).
When the product manual appears, mark the "Netware Client 32 for DOS"
item, then press <Enter>.
3.> Select "OTHER DRIVERS" item from "32-bit Network Board Drivers" menu,
then press <Enter>.
4.> Insert Accton EN166x Driver Diskette into your floppy diskette drive,
then specify the driver path like A: or B:.
5.> Select "Accton EN165x/EN1660-PnPISA Client32 Ethernet driver", then
press <Enter>.
6.> Following instructions to complete the Client32 for DOS software
installation.
7.> Reboot your machine.
C.) Driver Installation for Microsoft Windows 3.x
Please refer to Content B.), in step 2, mark "Netware Client 32 for DOS"
and "Client 32 for Windows", then following step 3..8 to complete the
installation.
D.) Driver Installation for Microsoft Windows 95
If you have installed the Microsoft Client in your Windows 95 system,
you should remove the adapter object and NDIS 2/3 driver of the EN166x
adapter from the Windows 95 system. If you have installed previously
Accton's EN166x NDIS 2/3 driver, you should do the following steps
before installing the EN166x Client32 driver.
D.1) Remove the previously installed adapter object & driver of Accton
EN166x, if any.

1.> Click the "My Computer" icon in the Main Program Group.
2.> Click the "Control Panel" icon from My Computer window.
3.> Click the "System" icon from the Control Panel window.
4.> Click the "Network adapter" icon from System window.
5.> Click the "Accton EN166x PnP-ISA Ethernet Adapter" icon from System
window.
6.> Click <Remove> button, then click <OK> button.
7.> Close the opened windows.
Note: If you NEVER pluged EN166x PnP-ISA adapter into your PC, Procedure
D.1) is not necessary. And you just start from Procedure D.2).
D.2) Install the Client 32 driver installation information file

8.> Switch to MS-DOS Command Prompt windows.
9.> Insert Accton EN166x Driver Diskette into your PC's floppy drive
(A: or B:)
10.> Type the following DOS command:
CD \WINDOWS\INF
RENAME ACC41.INF *.IN_
COPY A:\LANDRV32\ACCODI.INF
EXIT
11.> Shutdown and turn off the machine.
D.3) Client 32 Driver Installation on Windows 95
=====================================================
12.> Plug Accton's EN166x adapter onto one of the ISA or EISA
slots of your PC machine.
13.> Turn the power on to bootup the Windows 95.
14.> Windows 95 will then prompt the EN1660 PnPISA Ethernet Controller in
New Hardware Found dialog box.
15.> Windows 95 will prompt "ACCTON EN1660 MPX Ethernet Adapter"
in New Hardware Found dialog box.
16.> Following instructions to complete the installation.
Note: Windows 95 will ask you to keyin the proper path of the
following diskette:
a.> Netware Client 32 for Windows 95 Disk
b.> Accton EN165x/EN1660 PnPISA Client32 Ethernet Adapter Driver
Diskette --> Insert Accton EN166x Driver Diskette,
then, assign the path to A:\LANDRV32 or B:\LANDRV32
c.> Windows 95 CD-ROM

Download Driver Pack
After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
