Subject:  Install CDROM driver from MS-DOS 6.22 or WFW 3.11

The installation will cover 3 steps:
	
Step 1: Create one directory under C:\ called "tsy" 
	Copy 1 file "tsycdrom.sys from A:\cdrom to C:\tsy
	The system will use the file "mscdex.exe" of the MS-DOS 6.22;         
	However, if a user wants to use the provided file "mscdex.exe" under 
	A:\cdrom directory of the system disk, the user can modify one line 
	of the file "autoexec.bat" to "C:\tsy\mscdex.exe /D:tsyd1" and 
	copy the provided file "mscdex.exe" to c:\tsy directory.

Step 2: Edit "autoexec.bat"under C:\ by adding one line
	      C:\dos\mscdex.exe /D:tsycd1
Step 3: Edit "config.sys" under C:\ by adding one line
	      DEVICE=C:\tsy\tsycdrom.sys /D:tsycd1

How to install CD-ROM driver:
	Insert a diskette called "system disk" in the floppy drive
	From A:\, go to sub-directory CDROM by typing "cd cdrom"
	From A:\cdrom\, type in "install"
	Follows instructions from a screen to install CD-ROM driver

Reboot the system to register new changes, the system will recognize CD-ROM.

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
