Installation:
=============
Before you install the ODI OS/2 client driver, make sure that the
adapter is properly installed. Similarly, make sure that your NetWare
Requester for OS/2 is properly installed.
Please refer to "Novell NetWare Requester for OS/2" documentation for
a detailed Requester and Utilities installation guide.
1. Copy the driver RTSOS2.SYS into the NETWARE directory, the Novell NetWare
Requester for OS/2 subdirectory, from A:\NETWARE\OS2ODI if you insert
the driver diskette into the drive A:.
2. Add 'DEVICE=C:\NETWARE\RTSOS2.SYS' or replace the old ODI driver
with RTSOS2.SYS in the CONFIG.SYS file. For example,
DEVICE=C:\NETWARE\LSL.SYS ; NetWare OS/2 Requester supported
DEVICE=C:\NETWARE\DDAEMON.SYS ; NetWare OS/2 Requester supported
DEVICE=C:\NETWARE\RTSOS2.SYS ; ODI OS/2 Client Driver
DEVICE=C:\NETWARE\IPX.SYS ; NetWare OS/2 Requester supported
3. Use a text editor to create the file NET.CFG in the C:\NETWARE directory.
There is a text editor named E.EXE to use under OS/2 full screen.
To edit the two files above, at the OS/2 prompt, type:
E C:\CONFIG.SYS
or
E C:\NETWARE\NET.CFG
4. Shutdown and reboot your system to get service of network.
