      Install LAN Adapter Driver for Windows for Workgroup 3.11


    . From the "Network" window, select "Network Setup" item.

    . Click "Drivers.." button to install driver.

    . In the "Network Drivers" dialog box, choose "Add Adapter" button.

    . When LAN drivers is installed, Windows for Workgroups will present a list
      of all available drivers.  Since there will be no drivers initially,
      select Unlisted for 3rd party adapters not in the driver list.

    . Windows for Workgroups will ask for the drive/path containing the driver.
      Type the path where the driver files reside.

    . Windows for Workgroups will attempt to locate an OEMSETUP.INF file in the
      specified path. If you have entered the path name correctly, Windows
      for Workgroups should copy the appropriate drivers to the Windows for
      Workgroups system.

    . At this point, the driver would have been properly copied and the
      installation would proceed to the next step.  Please refer to your
      Windows for Workgroups installation guide for correct procedures.

    . ( Driver Keywords )

      In the "Netwrok Drivers" dialog box, choose Setup button:


      Connection Type      Specify the connection type for the adapter.
                           Default: AutoSense

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
