1. Introduction

This Ethernet ODI Driver for OS/2 workstations conforms to Novell NetWare
386 Public Domain Open Data-Link Interface (ODI), a specification that
is jointly designed by Novell and Apple. It applies to the NetWare OS/2
   workstations.

2. Contents of the Subdirectory

RETH.SYS The ODI driver for OS/2 workstations.

3. Installation

   1) Install and configure the PCMCIA Ethernet Card in your system, fol-
lowing the procedure in your jumperless Ethernet installation manual.

   2) Install the NetWare OS/2 Requester driver on the OS/2 workstation,
following the procedure in the NetWare OS/2 Requester manual.

   3) Copy RETH.SYS under A:\NETWARE\ODI\OS2ODI to the subdirectory created
while installing the NetWare OS/2 Requester driver (e.g., NETWARE).

   4) Add the following line into CONFIG.SYS:

            DEVICE=C:\NETWARE\RETH.SYS

   5) Reboot the system.

   6) Insert NetWare 386 OS/2 utility 1 into a floppy drive. Then, at the
OS/2 prompt, change the current drive to the one you are using and
      type as follows:

            LOGIN SUPERVISOR
            SERVINST <server_name>

This is used to connect the server and install OS/2 utilities on the
      server.

   7) Logout and reboot the system.

   8) At the OS/2 prompt, type the following commands to connect the server:

L: (the drive which is next to the
                                defined last drive, default=L:)
            LOGIN <user_name>
