1. Introduction:

This Ethernet NDIS driver for OS/2 is intended to bring additional driver
support to Microsoft LAN Manager 2.0 for OS/2 servers and workstations.
You can use the LAN Manager setup utility, SETUP, to import new drivers,
so that the network may be configured with the new drivers.

2. Directory Structure and Contents

The following directory structure on the installation diskette is to meet
   the LAN Manager requirement.

	\ <ROOT>
	³
	ÀÄÄÄMSLANMAN.OS2
	    ³
	    ÀÄÄÄDRIVERS
		³
		ÃÄÄÄETHERNET
		³ ³
		³ ÀÄÄÄRETH
		³	³
		³	ÃÄÄRETH.OS2
		³	³
		³	ÀÄÄPROTOCOL.INI
		³
		ÀÄÄÄNIF
		    ³
		    ÀÄÄRETH.NIF

The following describes the directory and file contents under the tree:

MSLANMAN.OS2 and DRIVERS Contains NDIS driver for OS/2.

ETHERNET Contains the NDIS driver and PROTOCOL.INI for PCMCIA
Ethernet Cards. The NDIS driver should have its own
subdirectory in the name of the associated NIF file.

RETH Contains the NDIS driver and PROTOCOL.INI.

RETH.OS2 The NDIS driver for OS/2.

PROTOCOL.INI The prototype of the final PROTOCOL.INI which stores the
configuration and binding information for all protocols
and MAC modules in the system. This is for use of the
		     Protocol Manager during initialization.

This file will be bound or modified during the installa-
		     tion.

NIF This file contains the NDIS network information that is
		     read by the setup utility.

RETH.NIF The NIF file for the Ethernet NDIS driver.
