Gigabit Driver for Linux
========================

The driver works with kernel version 2.2.0 and higher, older kernel
versions (1.x.x/2.0.x) are not supported. A stable version 2.2.x is recommended.
It has been tested with RedHat 6.0 (2.2.5-15).

The archive contains three files:

   * pfgigak.tar: contains a package to build the driver on
     your linux machine, for your convenience to match your module and
     kernel version.

   * extract pfgigak.tar to 'ksource' directory and run 'make' to generate
     the 'csgiga.o' module for your 'kernel version'.

   * copy 'csgiga.o' to /lib/modules/'kernel version'/net

   * use 'linuxconf' to install and configure the csgiga.o module
     for the Gigabit Adapter

This driver has been tested with different processor types (486, Pentium,
Pentium Pro) and system environments. It has not been tested on wide area
of workstations types. Test this driver and your linux system before using
it in a critical environment.
