Release Notes for AX5488 Driver for Windows 95
This README.TXT file contains release notes for AX5488 Utility Driver for
Windows 95. Information in this document is more current than that in the manual.

Software Installation Information
------------------------------------------------------------------------
To install this driver from Windows 95, run Setup program from the Start Menu.
If you are installing from drive A:
- From the Start menu, choose Run.
- In the Run dialog box, type A:SETUP and choose OK.
The installation program creates directory and copies files to it. You
may change the directory name but we recommend the default directory:
ax5488. The files are ad follows:
DLL :
GPIB.DLL Dynamic Linking Library for AX5488 driver for Windows 95.
DEMO :
C:
* GPIB.H Header file of AX5488 driver.
* GPIB.LIB Interface library file for AX5488 driver.
* DEMO.C Demo program showing how to use this driver in C.
* DEMO.H Header file of demo program.
* DEMO.RC Resource-definition file of demo program.
* RESOURCE.H Resource file of demo program.
* DEMO.DEF Module-definition file of demo program.
* DEMO.MAK Makefile of demo program.
VB:
* GPIB.BAS Basic file for VB user.
* EX.VBP Project file of demo program.
* EX.FRM Demo program showing how to use this driver in VB.

Download Driver Pack
After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
