  1)  Fixed a problem where the keyboard locked up when switching
      to full screen DOS.   This problem  only  occurred after
      switching the display device type to CRT mode while in
      simultaneous mode and in windowed DOS.
  
  2)  Disabled Vertical Interpolation for panel/simultaneous mode
      for STN-DD Panels.

  3)  Fixed a problem where the screen would occasionally go blank
      when repeatedly rebooting Windows 3.1 on a system with the
      65550 controller.
  4)  Fixed a problem where pressing Ctrl+Alt+Del in Japanese
      Windows DOS VM followed by the Enter key caused the screen
      to go blank.

  5)  Added Extended DCI support in 4BPP driver.

  6)  Fixed the video alignment problem in 1280x1024 and 1024x768
      interlaced modes.

  7)  Fixed the problem in Microsoft Excel where moving the Tool
      window leaves "garbage" on the screen.

  8)  Fixed a problem where one of the highlighted toolbox buttons
      in CorelDraw 5.0. appeared black.

  9)  Fixed a hang problem with IdleWild SpotLight when using the
      4BPP driver.

 10)  Modified the driver so that the hardware cursor will
      automatically switch to the software cursor in the NTSC/PAL
      modes.  The 65550 BIOS Version 1.2.1 must accompany this
      driver to fully support NTSC/PAL.

 11)  Fixed the GPF problem generated by Icon Editor in
      PCTools 2.0 for Windows when running in 640x480x24BPP and
      800x600x24BPP modes.

 12)  Fixed the noise problem in Video Capture on a 800x600
      and 1024x768 DSTN Panel in 16BPP Modes.

 13)  Fixed a hang problem when running Disney's Lion King
      Application Program running in Windows with a DCI driver.

 14)  Disabled interpolation if the MClock is less than 38MHz
      for 6555x.

 15)  Fixed the problems where the keyboard locked up when
      running Windows in simultaneous mode.

 16)  Fixed a problem with switching repeatedly between DOS
      full screen and Windows.
  
 17)  Fixed a display noise problem which occurred when
      starting windowed DOS and then switching to full screen DOS
      on an STN-DD panel.

 18)  Fixed the out-of-sync screen problem in 1280x1024
      interlaced mode that occurred when switching from windowed
      DOS to full screen DOS.

 19)  Fixed a problem where a blank screen resulted when
      setting mode 12 from mode 3+ in full screen DOS.

 20)  Modified the code to prevent the screen from going
      black when switching between text mode and graphics mode.

 21)  Modified code to support modes 70h and 73h in Japanese
      DOS/V text modes.

 22)  Fixed a screen corruption problem that occurred when
      switching from full screen DOS (in mode 2/3) to Windows VM
      by pressing Alt-Enter.

 23)  Modified the code to handle mode 0 and mode 1 at
      Windows VM.

 24)  Fixed a problem where the Japanese VDD mode could not
      create a DOS box.

 25)  Modified the code to fix a screen flashing problem when
      doing a set mode function in the DOS box when in FP/SM mode.

 26)  Fixed the screen corruption problem which occurred when
      switching from the windowed DOS box in high/true color mode
      to DOS full screen mode.

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
