Update Instructions.txt Driver File Contents (MSU_sny_271299.exe)

This is the procedure to follow to upgrade the memorystick driver on PCG-Z600RE English version.

1. Copy the 'MemoryStick Update driver' folder (that came with this text file) on your HD in c:\ 
2. Open the Device Manager ([My Computer] - Right Click - [Properties] - [Hardware] Tab - [Device Manager] Button)
3. Double click on [Hard Disk Controllers] to open the list
4. Double click on [Sony PCI to Memory Stick I/F Controller] to open the properties.
5. Go to Drivers tab, and click on Update driver... 
6. Select 'Search for a better driver than the one the one your device is using now' and specify the driver location which should be c:\MemoryStick Update driver (see step 1.)
7. Finish the installation and reboot the system

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

• Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

• If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

• Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

• Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

• Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

• From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

• Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
