MOTOROLA DESKTOP SUITE LICENSE AGREEMENT

Please ensure that you understand the terms and conditions of this Agreement before installing the MOTOROLA DESKTOP SUITE software supplied with the product.

SINGLE USER LICENSE AGREEMENT
This is a legal Agreement between you (either an individual or an organisation) and the supplier of your MOTOROLA  machine. BY BREAKING THE SEAL ON THE DISK PACKAGE, YOU ARE AGREEING TO BE BOUND BY THE TERMS OF THIS AGREEMENT. If you do not agree to the terms of this Agreement, promptly return the unopened disk package and the accompanying items to the place from which you obtained them for a full refund.

This license agreement covers the use of MOTOROLA DESKTOP SUITE on the PC and the use of the software that runs on the MOTOROLA machine ("MOTOROLA Software"). 

The MOTOROLA Software is licensed from Motorola and is protected by international copyright laws and treaty provisions. You must, therefore, treat the MOTOROLA Software like any other copyrighted material.  All title and intellectual property rights in and to the MOTOROLA Software are owned by MOTOROLA or its suppliers.

The License gives the purchaser the non-exclusive right to use the MOTOROLA Software. It may be used on several different computers owned by the purchaser, but only on one COMPUTER at a time. 

Note that the term "COMPUTER" refers to both a PC-compatible machine and to any computer or other device which uses the MOTOROLA Software.

The purchaser must not distribute copies of the MOTOROLA Software or documentation whether for monetary gain or not. The purchaser may not modify the MOTOROLA Software in any way without written consent from MOTOROLA; this includes translation into other languages. The purchaser may not reverse engineer, decompile, or disassembly the MOTOROLA software, except and only ot the extent that such activity is expressly permitted by applicable law notwithstanding this limitation.  No other use may be made of the MOTOROLA Software or the accompanying documentation, or any other copies made of the program than those outlined in this Agreement.

Copies of the MOTOROLA Software may be transferred to the Licensee's application disk(s) or hard disks providing the terms and conditions outlined above are adhered to. The only other copying allowed is when MOTOROLA Software is loaded into the computer for execution. The Licensee may not transfer the software to a third party without the written consent of the supplier. The warranty included and the terms of this License Agreement shall continue to apply notwithstanding any transfer and the purchaser undertakes to transfer only on such terms. For continued support, the person the MOTOROLA Software is transferred to must notify MOTOROLA.

The License Agreement lasts until the Licensee terminates it by destroying the documentation, the original CD ROM or disk(s) and all copies of the MOTOROLA Software supplied on the original CD-ROM or disk(s). If the Licensee fails to comply with the conditions of the Agreement, then the supplier will terminate the Agreement and the Licensee will be required, by the terms and conditions of the Agreement, to destroy the original CD-ROM or disk(s), documentation and all copies of the MOTOROLA Software supplied on the original CD-ROM or disk(s).

EXCEPT AS PROHIBITED BY LAW, MOTOROLA PROVIDES THE MOTOROLA SOFTWARE "AS IS" AND DISCLAIMS ALL EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED WARRANTIES INCLUDING ANY WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, OF FITNESS FOR A PARRTICULAR PURPOSE, OR OF NONINFRINGEMENT.  MOTOROLA SHALL HAVE NO LIABILITY FOR ANY INDIRECT, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR INCIDENTAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE USE OR PERFORMANCE OF THE MOTOROLA SOFTWARE.

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
