At playback mode Support "play bar", It is convenient to look the video that record. =========================================================================== TROUBLE SHOOTING Q1 : Why Remote controller can not work ? A1 : (1) After you finished software installation, you must restart computer to make it functional. (2) Please check your IR receiver connection is correct. (3) Please check the remote controller's battery has enough power or install. Q2 : Why can not see any picture but " Video source error! Please check source or setting" error message show on the screen? A2 : There are some reasons as below. (1) In TV mode (a) The TV system you choose in the first time setup is incorrect. Please reset TV system.(Page 7, TVReset) (b) Check you Antenna/Cable TV connection is correct (2) The video is not attached correctly to the device. The really video input doesn't match the setting of application. Please check which video input you connect(please refer 2.1 system connection and page 12, 3.11.1 General Parameters to make setup correctly (e.g. if you connect to Vin1 of Board, your setup must choose Vin1) (3) The TV/video source signal is really bad (e.g. some TV channel is very bad signal display on your TV, it make a lot of out-of-sync), due to MPEG encoder is very sensitive to the input signal, system can not detect the video well. Please check your video source to get good signal. Q3 : Why can not see any picture when recording? A3 : If you operating system are Windows 95, you should forgot to install the Microsoft DirectX Media Runtime Installation. You can download the news version from "http://www.microsoft.com/windows95/downloads/" Q4 : Why can not see any picture but blue frame only at preview mode? A4 : It may be your VGA card does not support DirectDraw very well. You can modify the registry key, HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\VVmer Technology Corp.\TV@MPG\DrawMethod",value to "1". Then restart the application. Q5 : Why can not hear anything when preview/recording mode? A5 : (1) Check the cable connection Video device audio output to Ain of TV@MPG card, please refer to 2.1 hardware Installation. (2) Check speaker connection. (3) Please check your sound card status by window's volume control panel,maybe you mute the sound(close the TV@MPG software and play your sound card only to test sound card work or not) If the problem still exists, please try as below (4) Please close the VCD Producer application and modify the registry key, "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\VVmer Technology Corp.\TV@MPG\PlayPCM", value to "0". Then restart the application. Q6 : Why can not hear anything during playback MPEG file? A6 : (1) Please check page 13, Recording parameter 3.11.2, make sure recording include audio. (2) Please check your sound card recording function, (close the TV@MPG software and make recording test of your sound card Q7 : During recording mode, I found Audio/Video can not synchronize. A7 : This is function ok for this TV@MPG, because TV@MPG uses software playback, when she makes recording then software execute to playback to VGA, so maybe you will find some A/V asynchronous, But even you have seen this phenomenal, this will not influence your recording. The recording file always is synchronized, if you playback this recording file you will find it is synchronized. Q8 : Why I found the video display screen sometimes throb in preview mode. A8 : When TV@MPG find input signal is not good sync enough, she has to process audio video sync to match good MPEG format that is why you see this phenomenal. But even you have seen this phenomenal, it can not influence your recording file, your recording does not get such throb issue. Q9 : How to complete uninstall the software A9 : (1) Run "Uninstall TV@MPG" program. (2) Delete Windows\System\Zkmpj.vxd (3) Delete Windows\Inf\Other\VVmer Technology Corp.ZKMPJPCI.INF (4) Remove My Computer\Control Panel\System\DeviceManager\Sound,video and game Controllers \TV@MPGDownload Driver Pack
After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
