The NetWare DOS ODI client driver files are in the \DOS_ODI subdirectory of
this diskette.

 1. Power on the PC. Put this diskette in a floppy-disk drive (the example
    uses Drive A:). At the DOS prompt type --
       A:\DOS_ODI\LSL <enter>
       A:\DOS_ODI\AX88140 <enter>
       A:\DOS_ODI\IPXODI <enter>
       A:\DOS_ODI\NETX <enter>

The driver for Personal NetWare 1.x is stored in the \DOS_ODI subdirectory.

 1. Install Personal NetWare on the PC's hard disk. Refer to the Personal
    NetWare manual for instructions.

 2. Configure Personal NetWare to use the PRO110 adapter:
    a).Run Personal NetWare's SETUP.EXE program. The main menu will appear.
    b).Choose "Primary Network Interface Card" and locate "OEM supplied
       driver". Press <enter> to select this item.
    c).Input source drive with path A:\DOS_ODI and press <enter> on the
       "Accept the above and continue" item.
    d).Choose "Primary Network Interface Card" and locate "PRO110(B) PCI
       Fast Ethernet Adapter". Press <enter> to select this card.
    e).Return to the main menu and select "Configure Primary Interface Card"
       to configure the "Media Frame Type(s)".
    f).After setting the frame type(s), return to the main menu. Press "Save
       Changes and Exit".

 3. Update the version of LSL.COM in the Personal NetWare subdirectory. Type:
       COPY A:\DOS_ODI\LSL.COM C:\NWCLIENT <enter>

 4. Run Personal NetWare's STARTNET.BAT program.

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
