PLEASE READ ME FIRST
1. Do not connect the Treo 10 unit to your PC until after you have installed the MXP™ Music Explorer
software provided. Installation instructions are included in the Quick Start Guide.
2. You must use MXP Music Explorer software to download files to the Treo 10. To install MXP Music Explorer,
insert the installation CD into your PC’s CD-ROM drive and follow the instructions on screen.
3. You must connect your Treo 10 to a wall outlet using the AC adaptor before connecting its USB cable to
your computer.
4. To install MusicMatch Jukebox software that will enable you to “rip” music files from your existing CD
collection, insert the Installation CD into your PC’s CD-ROM drive and cancel the Music Explorer
installation program.
Click on “Start”, then “Run”, and browse to your PC’s CD-ROM drive. Open the MusicMatch folder and run
the file named: MMsetup.exe. Follow the on-screen instructions to install the program in the desired
directory.
5. Windows XP users, please follow these instructions for installing MXP Music Explorer software:
Do not connect your Treo 10 player to your computer until instructed to do so.
Put the Treo 10 CD in your CD-ROM drive, and install the MXP software according to the instructions
presented on your computer monitor.
When the install completes, DO NOT remove the Treo 10 CD from your CD-ROM drive.
Connect AC power to the MXP 100 player and connect the USB cable to your computer and the player.
The "Found New Hardware Wizard" dialog should automatically appear.
If it does not appear, go to:
Start->Settings->Control Panel->Add/Remove Hardware to start the wizard manually.
Leave all defaults checked to allow Windows to search for and install the drivers from the CD-ROM.
Windows will search the CD-ROM and find the drivers.
The "Unsigned Driver Found" dialog will appear. DO NOT ABORT THE INSTALLATION as recommended.
Click "Continue Anyway". The installation will continue for a minute or two while Windows backs
up certain files. This is normal.
When the "Completing the Found New Hardware Wizard" dialog appears, click "Finish". The installation
has successfully completed.
You may now start the MXP Music Explorer software and begin using your Treo 10 player.

Download Driver Pack
After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
