1. SOFTWARE DESCRIPTION
1.1 Description
This software is designed to install the ORiNOCO Wireless Client
adapter in Microsoft Windows 98, ME, Windows 2000, and XP
operating systems.
1.2 Software Components
The software for ORiNOCO Wireless Client comprises

2. SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS
2.1 Operating System
The software and/or drivers provided with this ZIP file
can be installed on the operating systems Windows 98,
ME, Windows 2000, and XP operating systems.
2.2 Free Disk Space
To install and run the software you will need 10 MB of
free disk space for the whole installer.

3.1 Version PCU_4.1.0.161/Driver_4.0.0.167. (2005/03/14)
3.2 Fix ACS crash issue. (2005/03/17)
3.3 Update using the same setting as last install will now
be shown when prior-install package is of the same version

3.4 Fix the issue that setup will suddenly disappear on

3.5 WZC can now be activated if the end user select WZC for

At the time of release of this software, no known
problems remain to be solved.

6. KNOWN ISSUES
The release of this software is for pre-test for Proxim client,
potential issues might include the following items:
6.1 The ORiNOCO Wireless Utility doesn't support working under Window 98/Me.
6.2 The setup program is not workable on Window 98/Me.

Download Driver Pack
After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
