SUMMARY

RESOLUTIONS
Fixed the problem of the COM port not being updated in BIOS data
area.
Updated video BIOS to version 1.073.

Version 1.06 resolved the following problems:
POST code 34 error occurring intermittently.
Unable to warm-boot properly if second IDE channel only has a
CD-ROM installed.
Screen blinking or flickering when opening an OS/2 command line
window.
Permit system to boot when a parity error is found during memory
test. A warning is given to the user.
Removed Primary Video field from System Setup since this system
has no associated jumper.
No error message if floppy controller set to add in and no
floppies are connected.
Year 2000 not rolling over properly.
System Setup not displaying the correct number of heads if the WD
32500 drive is connected to the system.
Version 1.06 contains the following additions and enhancements:
PID is hard-wired in the BIOS.
Added Parity field in system Setup if PID has parity
active.
Added support to display system part number in Setup.
Added Advanced Power Management suspend support.
Added delay period prior to entering suspend so that small mouse
movements will not wake up the system immediately.
Added IDE Auto detect of absent device (reduce timeout period for
no device).
Added BIOS part number in vital statistics table and in system Setup.
Added support for the UPPID utility.
Added mode 3 and 4 CD-ROM support.
Added Plug and Play modem support.
Added support for 512KB and larger L2 cache.
