Install the client software on the NT Workstation.

1. Log in to the Windows NT workstation as an NT user who is a member of the
   "Administrators" group.

3. From the "Control Panel," select "Network."

8. Install will detect your existing network adapter from Microsoft's NDIS
information. If a driver is detected, you will be asked if you want to
change to ODI?" If "No" is selected, then our install will bind to the NDIS
driver and no additional setup will be necessary. If "Yes" is selected, then
the ODI driver will be selected and a list of the settings will be shown.
These settings have already been defined, so no changes are necessary.

9. If you have installed an NDIS driver that has no corresponding ODI driver,
then the install will automatically bind to your NDIS driver and no further
   changes are necessary.

The client software and driver are installed on the workstation.

ADDITIONAL DOCUMENTATION:

The documentation for this client kit is formatted as a Windows help file.
After the client software is installed on the workstation, you can read the
documentation by choosing the "Getting Started" icon in the NetWare folder.

COMPATIBILITY INFORMATION:

There are two FDDI cards made by SysKonnect: One EISA and one microchannel. The
ODI drivers for these two cards are setup differently and will not be
automatically displayed in the list of drivers during install. To install these
drivers, you will need to select "Add adapter", then select "Other". You will
then be prompted to give the appropriate path where these two ODI drivers
reside. Setup will then read the OEMSETUP information and will then bring up the
two cards to be selected. The install will proceed normally after that point.
