 4. About unique features of this utility and its limitations
---------------------------------------------------------------

* About the entry of IP address.

When you input the host name at the time of entering the IP address and
click OK button, the system will check whether the host you have entered
exists on the network. If the host does not exist, you would not be able
to continue. Make sure that you enter the correct host name.
To stop the system from verifying the host name, click Cancel button.

* About the printer's status.

The printer's status will only be shown for print jobs that are sent from
the PC whose port has been set with the TCP/IP Direct Print Utility.
If the printer is a shared printer, the printer's status would not be shown
for jobs that are sent from a PC whose port is not set with the Utility.

* About the addition of multiple TCP/IP Direct Print Utility ports.

When you add multiple TCP/IP Direct Print Utility ports, follow the
limitation of new port names below.
    - Do not add characters to the existing port names' last character.
e.g. If a port name "printer" already existed, do not use names such as
            "printer1", "printer-01".
    - Do not extract one or more characters from the existing port names' first
      character.
e.g. If a port name "printer" already existed, do not use names such as
            "prin", "print".
Both of the above limitations are case-insensitive.

* About the printer spool settings.

For best print result, Select "Spool print jobs so program finishes
printing faster" from the Spool Settings dialog box. To view the Spool
Settings dialog box, select Details tab of the printer properties and
    choose Spool Settings.
Do not select "Print directly to the printer" as this may cause a printing
    error.

* Points to remember when using printer driver that supports bi-directional
  communication.

There are printer drivers that support bi-directional communication.
For best print result when using this printer driver with TCP/IP Direct
Print Utility, select "Disable bi-directional support for this printer"
radio button from the Spool Settings dialog box. To view the Spool
Settings dialog box, select Details tab of the printer properties and
    choose Spool Settings.
Do not select "Enable bi-directional support for this printer" as this may
    cause a printing error.

* When dial-up network connection is enabled on your PC.

    Dial-up connection dialog may appear.
To skip the Dial-up connection dialog in the future, follow the instructions
