READ ME - User Software CD
This READ ME file provides brief descriptions of the contents of this CD. For more information, see the user documentation included with your product.

Clrfiles - Contains files to print and use as a reference for how particular colors look when printed on your particular print device. Use them when you are choosing or specifying colors within an application.

Instalrs - Contains software installers for printer drivers and other essential software. See the installer-specific READ ME file in each subfolder.

The following folders and files are language-independent. They are found at the top level of the CD, one level above this language folder.

ICM - Contains ICM profiles for color management on Windows 95 computers. Use these files as described in the user documentation to ensure optimal color results. ICM files are language-independent.

Photoshp - Contains files to use with Adobe Photoshop. These files are language-independent.

Demo.mea -- A file to be used ONLY by an authorized service or sales representative.

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
