How to Install

If "Found New Hardware Wizard" dialog box appears after "New Hardware Found" dialog box appears, click "Next" button
and skip to Step 12.

  1. Click [Start] button -> "Settings" -> "Control Panel".
  2. Open "System" in "Control Panel".
  3. Select "Hardware" tab.
  4. Click "Device Manager..." button.
  5. Click a plus button in front of "Network adapters".
  6. If you find "Toshiba Wireless LAN Mini PCI Card" or something to similar name device, double click it
     and skip to Step 9.
  7. Click a plus button in front of "Other devices".
  8. You may find "TOSHIBA Wireless_LAN_Card" or something to similar name device and double click it.
  9. Select "Driver" tab.
 10. Click "Update Driver..." button.
 11. Click "Next" button in Upgrade Device Driver Wizard.
 12. Select "Search for a suitable driver for my device (recommended)" and click "Next" button.
 13. Check "Specify a location" only and click "Next" button.
 14. Specify "C:\WINNT\Driver Cache" folder and click "OK" button.
 15. Click "Next" button.
 16. Click "Finish" button in "Completing the Upgrade Device Driver Wizard" dialog box.
 17. You'll see "TOSHIBA Wireless LAN Mini PCI Card" dialog box, and click "Close" button.
 18. Click [Start] button -> "Settings" -> "Control Panel".
 19. Open "Wireless Network" in "Control Panel".
 20. Add or edit Configuration Profile.
       - Profile Name (Default Setting is "Default")
       - Access mode  (Default Setting is "Access Point")
       - Network Name
         (You must specify the existing network name or the name "ANY"
          if you select "Access Point" on Access mode setting)
       - Additional Setting (Data Security Setting, etc)
     For more information, click "Help" button.
 21. Restart Windows.

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
