Elo XP Universal Driver for Windows XP and Windows 2000

Elo XP Universal Driver contains native 32-bit drivers designed 
for Windows XP and Windows 2000, a setup program, video alignment program, 
control panel program, tool tray application and right button application 
for Elo TouchSystems' touchmonitors.

Supported Touchmonitors and Elo Touchscreen Controllers

   - All Elo Entuitive brand touchmonitors with a USB

   - Elo USB Controllers (IntelliTouch(R) 2216, 2600, 2500U,
     2700, AccuTouch(R) 3000U, CarrollTouch(R) 4000U, 4500U)

Installing Elo XP Universal Driver Windows XP or Windows 2000

Note: you must have administrator access rights on your 
Windows XP or Windows 2000 system to install Elo XP Universial Driver
for Windows. 

Shutdown your computer and connect your touchmonitor as described
in the accompanying documentation. Restart your computer.

Windows 2000 and XP Installation:

Browse to the directory containing the driver installation 
package files. 

Double click on EloSetup.exe to run the install application.

Uninstalling Elo XP Universal Driver Windows XP or Windows 2000 

1. After Windows loads, click the Start button, click Settings, 
   and then click Control Panel. 

2. Double-click the Add/Remove Programs icon.

3. Select Elo XP Universal Driver from the list of
   uninstallable programs on the Install/Uninstall tab.

4. Click the Add/Remove button then follow the directions on
   your screen.

Release Notes

- A touch may not wake the system when in Stand-by power save
  mode. Move the mouse or press a key on the keyboard to return
  from Stand-by mode. Disable Stand-by mode in the Power
  Management control panel to avoid this issue when the USB
  touchscreen is your only input device.

- Full Screen DOS sessions are not supported. However, windowed
  DOS mode is fully supported. A touch to a full-screen DOS
  session will cause your system to immediately return to your
  Windows desktop. A mouse can be used to access programs run
  in a Full Screen DOS session.

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
