Readme.txt Driver File Contents (109gi16.zip)

Please be aware that by downloading this BIOS and flashing it, you
agree that in the event of a BIOS flash failure, you must contact
your dealer for a replacement BIOS.

There are no exceptions.
FIC does not have a policy of replacing BIOS chips directly with
end users. ALL BIOS REVISIONS ARE RELEASED ON AN AS-IS BASIS.

Only flash from a Clean DOS 6.xx boot disk and do make a backup of your curent BIOS.
Number of users who do not backup current BIOS, destroy BIOS by not following the proper procedure and are unable to boot the system is surprisingly large!

DO NOT USE WINDOWS 95 DOS (AKA: DOS 7) FOR "CLEAN" BOOT.
PRIOR TO RELEASE ALL BIOSES ARE TESTED WITH DOS 6.22 SYSTEM DISK WITH REMOVED UNNECESSARY DRIVERS.

Please refer to the FAQ section on the Web or your manual for further
BIOS flashing assistance.

For more info and recovery advice, see BIOS FAQs at http://www.fic.com.tw/techsupport/index.htm (BIOS Updates, under Support Menu on the side frame)
