SCO OpenServer v5.0 Introduction: ------------- This document describes the procedure to install the SCO OpenServer 5.0 driver for SN-3200 PCI ethernet adapter. Installation Diskette in DOS format. Put SN-3200 PCI UNIX Driver diskette to floppy A: and use doscp command to copy SN-3200 PCI SCO UNIX Driver into UNIX's directories. # cd / # doscp a:/sco/5x/setup /setup # chmod +x /setup # ./setup 2. Use netconfig utility Avaiable options: # netconfig 3. To add adapters, select "Add New Lan Adapter" from "Hardware". 4. Add Protocol to select SCO TCP/IP. 5. Enter the internet Address of this interface n.n.n.n 6. Enter the netmask for this interface (default 255.255.255.0) 7. Enter the boardcast address for this interface default: n.n.n.n 8. Do you want to relink to kernel now ? y 9. Do you want this kernel to boot by default (y/n) y 10. Do you want the kernel environment rebuilt (y/n) y 11. After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
