This setup program will update Windows 95's resources so that Windows 95's resource database can store new Intel PCI devices such as the PCI IDE hard disk controller, PCI USB device, etc. Use this update utility when Windows 95 has difficulty recognizing the secondary IDE channel. To update the resource files: 1. Unzip the inf.zip to a temporary directory on your hard disk. Do not install from the floppy. 2. Run INF.EXE and click on Update Now to update Windows 95's resource files. 3. Remove the old standard PCI devices from the device manager and reboot. 4. The INF.EXE will copy the USB update only if your version of Windows 95 supports USB, such as Windows 95 OSR2 with USB supplemental. If your Windows 95 does not support USB, please ask your software vendor or contact Microsoft for an update. If your system can not reboot after updating, simply boot to safe mode and run the INF.EXE again to restore the original files. To restore the original resource files: 1. Run INF.EXE and click on Restore to restore the original INF files. 2. Remove the new Intel PCI devices from the device manager and reboot.Download Driver Pack
