To WORK with Ultra DMA/33 function under Windows 95
1. Please make sure your motherboard or system support Ultra DMA/33 function.
2. Please enable the Ultra DMA function under BIOS setting.
3. Install the PCI IDE DRIVER properly with the driver come with the
system, or the motherboard, for Windows 95 that supports Ultra DMA/33.
4. After installation, the Ultra DMA/33 function in your CD-ROM drives
will be enabled.
5. If you cannot find the proper driver, please contact with your
system or motherboard supplier for the correct PCI IDE DRIVER.
6. DO NOT enable the DMA function in Windows 95 when your system or
motherboard not support Ultra DMA/33 function. Since Windows 95 only
provides Bus Master DMA function but not for Ultra DMA, if you
enable the DMA function, it may cause the system to be hung up.
7. If your system unfortunately hang up, you can re-start your computer
and disable the Ultra DMA function in your system BIOS setting. Then
re-start your computer again and restore your default setting in
Windows 95.
Download Driver Pack
After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
