 release of the drivers.

 GENERAL INFORMATION
 -------------------
The two 3.5 inch high-density TokenDisk diskettes provide installation
 utilities, diagnostics, and drivers.

Documentation for the drivers is provided as ASCII text files with a
.TXT extension located in the /HELP directory on TokenDisk Diskette #1.

 TOKENDISK DISKETTE #1
 ---------------------
Diskette #1 contains the following programs and drivers:

 - AutoLink (TM): 3Com's automatic installation software that
automatically installs all necessary NetWare DOS ODI client
   software, including drivers.

 - Install: 3Com's menu-driven utility for installing NetWare
drivers and online documentation for installing non-NetWare
   drivers.

 - 3PCID.EXE: 3Com's configuration and diagnostic program for the
3C359 TokenLink Velocity XL PCI NIC.

 - NetWare drivers: Drivers and support files for NetWare 3.12 and 4.x
servers, Client 32, 16-bit DOS ODI, and OS/2 ODI.

 - Microcode: MAC (Media Access Control) layer microcode file
   required by some 3C359 drivers.

 TOKENDISK DISKETTE #2
 ---------------------
Diskette #2 contains the following files and drivers:

 - NDIS 2.01 Drivers: DOS and OS/2 NDIS 2.01 drivers are provided in a
directory structure that allows importing them into IBM LAN
Server, Microsoft Windows for Workgroups, or Microsoft LAN Manager
environments. Instructions for installing drivers in other environments
(e.g. Banyan VINES) are supplied in ASCII text files on TokenDisk
   diskette #1.

 - NDIS 3.0 Drivers: Drivers and setup files for Microsoft
Windows NT 3.51 and Windows 95.

 - NDIS 4.0 Drivers: Drivers and setup files for Microsoft
   Windows NT 4.0, Windows 95 OSR2, and Windows 98.

   required by some 3C359 drivers.

3Com Configuration and Diagnostic Program Runs in DOS Mode Only
   ---------------------------------------------------------------
If you are running Windows 95, please exit to DOS mode before
running the 3Com Configuration and Diagnostic program. If you
are running Windows NT, boot from the DOS partition or boot
   from a DOS diskette.

   KNOWN LIMITATIONS
   -----------------
The following limitations have been observed.
The problems are under investigation and fixes are being pursued.

   1. When rebooting Windows 95 after installing two 3C359 NICs, the
second NIC may not activate. To activate the second NIC, simply
      reboot Windows 95 again.

   2. When installing the 3C359 with Windows NT or Windows 98 on the
Compaq Professional Workstation 5000 or Tulip Vision Line TR
6/smp, do not enable 3Com Class of Service. If Class of
Service is enabled on these systems, the NIC will fail to
      start.
